What does Oversix do?
We help overseas tradies get their skills recognised in Australia: skills assessment (mainly with TRA), Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and licensing. We don’t do immigration or job placement.

How much do your services cost?
It depends on your trade, your pathway and the support you need. After the free eligibility check and a strategy call, you get a clear quote before you commit to anything.
Which assessing authorities do you work with?
Mainly Trades Recognition Australia (TRA), plus other recognised Australian assessing authorities, such as VETASSESS, depending on your occupation.
What is the difference between a skills assessment and RPL?
A skills assessment formally confirms your skills for licensing or migration. RPL turns your work experience into an Australian qualification, usually for non-licensed trades. We tell you which pathway applies to you.
Do you provide job placement?
No. We guide you on the best career pathway and can connect you with trusted partners and employers when your profile meets their requirements.
Can you help me get sponsorship?
We don’t provide sponsorship ourselves. We help you build a strong profile, guide you through your skills assessment, and connect you with employers and registered migration agents when appropriate.
Can you guarantee visa approval?
No. Visa decisions are made by the Australian Government. Our role is to guide you correctly through your skills assessment, RPL and documents to give you the best chance.
How long does the process take?
It depends on your occupation and the assessing authority, from several weeks to a few months. We give you a clear timeline once we’ve reviewed your profile.
What documents will I need?
Generally: work references, payslips, contracts, qualifications and ID documents. We guide you step by step so everything meets Australian requirements.
What if I'm not eligible right now?
We explain what’s missing, how to strengthen your profile, what experience you may need and which alternative pathways exist. Many clients become eligible after following our recommendations.
